📋 Checkout Reminders
Set thermostat to 65 degrees F
Empty the fridge of all food items
Take out all trash (bins located in sheds in parking lot)
Load dishwasher with soiled dishes and start
Leave used beds unmade
Place dirty bath linens on the bathroom floor

🔥 Fireplace — Important
DO NOT USE THE FIREPLACE UNLESS YOU ARE EXPERIENCED WITH BUILDING WOOD FIRES.

Open the damper fully before starting a fire

Do not use liquid fuel or liquid fire starters
⚠️
Do not burn more than 3 logs at a time — larger fires can damage the firebox

Keep the fireplace screen completely closed while the fire is burning

Remain in attendance while the fire is burning. Ensure fire is completely out and close the glass doors before sleeping or leaving

Spread ashes before going to bed to allow them to cool.
If you're not comfortable building a fire, please don't attempt it. Safety first!
🛏️ Bedroom Clocks
Each bedside clock in the bedrooms is Bluetooth-enabled — pair you device to stream audio.
🌀 Fans
Standing fans are available for your use. Change the speed by turning the switch on the top of the fan.
☕️ Coffee Machine
Mr. Coffee standard coffee pot with easy on/off switch. Standard coffee filters will work for ground coffee.
Please clean out the coffee pot and filter after use.

All artwork is be Douglas Race. He was our late grandfather, who enjoyed painting in his retirement years. Many of his scenes were inspired by Northern Michigan's iconic views.

One of America's most beautiful freshwater coastlines. Climb the famous dune climb, explore miles of pristine beaches, or drive the scenic Pierce Stocking Drive.

Pyramid Point
A spectacular 2.7-mile hike to a 400-foot bluff overlooking Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands. One of the best views in Northern Michigan.
